ANGST,  KMFDM's sixth studio album, was released to critical acclaim in 1993. It features a more guitar-driven sound for KMFDM, and is the first album recorded by the band in the U.S. The album paces incredibly, and features the classic chant at live shows, "SUCKS", as well as the epic "A Drug Against War," which one critic opined that the song was "one of the best introductions to KMFDM's antagonistic guitars and viewpoints."

Personnel includes Sascha Konietzko (Ok•Ztein•OK, MDFMK) on vocals, bass, synthesizers, programming, arrangement, production, En Esch (Pigface, Slick Idiot) on vocals and guitar, Mark Durante (Revolting Cocks, The Waco Brothers) on guitar, Gunter Schulz (Slick Idiot, PIG) on  vocals and guitar.
Additional personnel: Dorona Alberti (vocals), Christine Siewert (vocals) and Bruce Breckenfeld (Hammond B3).
Production:
Chris Shepard – recording, engineering, mix
Brian Gardner – digital editing
Konrad Strauss – mastering
